Croydon Commitment Many thanks to Janine Jasper of Croydon Commitment for support and encouragement through the highs and lows of the first 18 months. She introduced GFM to businesses in Croydon such as Mansell Engineering and Mott MacDonald as well as Croydon Council and Croydon Voluntary Action. During this time GFM received invaluable support from CVA and Diana Battaglia ( Environment and Sustainability) Croydon Council.

Mercers Company helped core and admin costs from February to April 2006
Jack Petchey Foundation through Croydon Youth Development Trust (CYDT). This generous and much needed grant helped towards a salary for kitchen project manager and fundraiser from July 2007 to June 2008 . Our grateful thanks go to Paula Doherty and Hannah Cilia of CYDT for obtaining this grant and for their advice and constant support. An extra thanks to Paula for her advice, and encouragement to Evelyn, through many sticky patches, from 2005 onwards and for her assistance in helping to house the GFM teaching kitchen in the building of CYDT. Last but not least our thanks to all the staff at CYDT who are so welcoming to our students and always ready to give a helping hand whenever the need arises.
